When connecting solar panels in series or parallel, it is important to ensure that the solar panels have similar parameters such as open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, etc., to avoid efficiency loss or damage to the equipment. Additionally, it is necessary to use appropriate voltage regulators or charge controllers to manage and protect the charging process of the energy storage system.

Therefore, it is advised to use solar panels of the same brand and with the same rated values in series or parallel connections. It is not recommended to connect 1 AF-S100 with 1 AF-S200 in series or parallel. Instead, you can use 2 AF-S200 200W solar panels connected in series or parallel together.

If different voltage or current solar panels are connected in series and result in damage to the equipment, it will not be covered under our warranty.

Does the AF-S100 portable solar panel have an actual output of 100W?

The output power of a solar panel is influenced by local temperature, sunlight duration, angle, and weather conditions. As a result, a 100W solar panel typically does not achieve its full 100W power rating. Under ideal conditions, a 100W solar panel produce approximately 80W of power.

What is the optimal angle for the AF-S100 solar panel?

The ideal angle is for the solar panel to be at a 90-degree angle to the sunlight.

How long does it take to fully charge the AFERIY portable power station by connecting it to the AF-S100 100W solar panel?

If using the AF-S100 100W solar panel to charge the AF-P110 800W 512Wh portable power station, under good sunlight conditions:

With one AF-S100 solar panel, it takes approximately 8 hours to fully charge.
With two AF-S100 solar panels, it takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge.

Is the AF-S100 solar panel waterproof?

The AFERIY AF-S100 has undergone thorough reliability testing and has achieved an IP65 waterproof rating. However, to ensure a longer lifespan in suitable conditions, we do not recommend prolonged exposure to rainwater.

Can the AFERIY AF-S100 solar panel be compatible with other brands of portable power station?

Yes, the AFERIY AF-S100 solar panel is compatible with most other brands of portable power banks, as long as they meet the following requirements:

(1) It requires an MC4 connection cable that matches the solar panel input interface of the portable power station.
(2) The input voltage, current, and power requirements of the portable power bank match the output voltage, current, and power specifications of the AFERIY solar panel.
